Landscape Design Process
See our step-by-step process from concept to completion
-
01 . Initial meeting
The design process is discussed and agreed upon with the client at the initial meeting. The first site visit (online or in person) allows us to get a sense of the space and develop a plan based on the client’s specific needs and requirements.
-
02 . Conceptual proposals
We develop conceptual design proposals based on what we learned in the initial meeting. Conceptual proposals include a garden plan and 3D sketches, along with plant and material mood boards. These elements are presented for client review.
-
03. Detailed proposals
Once the initial design has been agreed upon, it is then developed further by adding another layer of detail to the design. Drawings are developed to share with the landscape contractors and to prepare the cost estimate.
-
04. Tender
The construction package is prepared during the tender stage of the project. A detailed proposal and outline of what is being built is submitted for contractors to bid on the project, giving the client multiple options to complete their vision.
-
05. Construction
We ensure work is being completed to our high standards in order to meet the client’s goals and expectations. We monitor and manage the site, and provide updates to the client as construction progresses.
-
06. Completion and Aftercare
Once the project is completed and reviewed with the client, initial and after-care advice is available for an agreed upon period of time.
