First Conceptual sketches of the front entrance

Our planting plan draws inspiration from the renowned High Line garden in New York City, seamlessly complementing the project's linear design and angular walkways. We have proposed a naturalistic theme that harmonizes with the surroundings. Sustainability is a key focus of the planting, as we carefully select native plant species that thrive in the climate and soil conditions of southeast Ontario.

Incorporating a variety of perennials, grasses, and flowering trees, our planting plan guarantees year-round interest and a dynamic landscape. By thoughtfully blending naturalistic elements with native plants, we create a captivating Organic Modern theme.

Refreshing cool colour palette with accent colours

  • 70% of the proposed planting is native to southern Ontario

  • Benefits include: hardy and adaptable to local environment conditions, less watering needed once established , supports birds and pollinators, low maintenance

  • All year interest

  • Full sun to part sun conditions

  • Utilized clients planting preference to work with the proposed palette (blue stem grass, hosta, Japanese sedge)
